1.     Overview: (Back to Top)

ISCT is proud to offer full tuition scholarships for 3 ISCT EU Members to enroll in the 2021/2022 Master’s in Manufacturing of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) at the University of Granada/Andalusian Initiative for Advanced Therapies. These scholarships are made possible by sponsorship in part through an educational grant provided by Miltenyi Biotec.

One scholarship will be allocated to each of three Master’s programmes being offered. These include:

  • Master's Degree in Manufacturing of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products, specialization as Qualified Person
  • Master's Degree in Manufacturing of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products, specialization as Manufacturing Manager
  • Master's Degree in Manufacturing of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products, specialization as Quality Control Manager

This pioneering Master's programme is designed for professionals currently working (or intending to work) in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)-compliant cell therapy, gene therapy, or tissue engineered product manufacturing, as well as for professionals with diverse backgrounds seeking to update their knowledge of, or entering, the advanced therapy sector.

Each program is tailored based on the input of European Medicines Agency (EMA) experts, and is designed such that graduates emerge proficient with relevant GMP guidelines, laboratory practices, and intensive theoretical training focused on applying GMP to ATMPs.

While the program offers applications for individual modules, our scholarships are offered only to applicants who intend to pursue a full Master’s programme.

Successful scholars of the program will be given an opportunity to report on their experiences at the end of the degree, to share with ISCT membership in the Telegraft newsletter.

For more information on the 2021/2022 Master’s in Manufacturing of ATMPs at the University of Granada/ Andalusian Initiative for Advanced Therapies please visit the programme website.
